features
Smarter systems for
non-stop borders
01
Digital Pre-Clearance
Integrated with the Biometric Travel Authorization or eVisa system, traveler biometric data is verified and securely accessed throughout the journey
02
Non-stop passport control
Upon arrival, the traveler simply walks through. FaceLane uses real-time facial matching to identify individuals on the move, against pre-cleared profiles
03
Fast-Track Entry
Verified, low-risk travelers proceed without stopping. FaceLane alerts Immigration officers when an anomaly is detected — improving both security and operational focus
04
Biometric Matching in Motion
Facial recognition while walking, requiring no active engagement from the traveler. Significantly reduces queues and automates passport control

FaceLane is a fully operational, AI-powered biometric corridor designed to verify the identity of travelers while they walk — without requiring them to stop, show a passport, or scan a boarding pass. Built for seamless integration with existing immigration and visa systems, it enables a frictionless border experience that reduces queues, enhances security, and boosts the traveler experience.

FaceLane integrates a color-coded risk classification system to support rapid, intelligent decision-making at the border. Integrated with the Biometric Travel Authorization or Biometric eVisa System, traveler identity is matched and instantly assigned a risk level—green for low-risk, amber for those requiring secondary review, and red for potential security concerns or watchlist matches. This visual system allows border agents to focus attention where it’s needed most, reducing cognitive load and enhancing both security and operational efficiency.

Every traveler passing through FaceLane undergoes a comprehensive risk assessment and identity verification process powered by Travizory’s AI-powered risk engine. By analyzing biometric data alongside travel history, eVisa or eTA information, flight details, and watchlist checks, the system creates a rich traveler profile in real time. This holistic view enables authorities to verify identity, and assign a risk score before the traveler reaches the border—enabling faster processing for trusted individuals and immediate alerts for potential threats.

FAQ
What is the FaceLane™?
Travizory's FaceLane is a walk-through biometric corridor, offering the future of passport-free, automated border clearance. FaceLane is the next generation of ABC Gates, for environments where a physical barrier is not required. FaceLane uses advanced facial recognition for a non-stop arrival and departure experience. With a throughput of up to 30 passengers per minute, the FaceLane significantly reduces queuing times and eliminates manual processing at the border for low-risk or trusted travelers.
How does FaceLane™ work?
Travizory's FaceLane is fully integrated with our Biometric eVisa (eVISA) and Biometric Travel Authorization (eTA) systems, which screen and vet travelers to facilitate fast-track arrival and departure for low-risk travelers. The walk-through FaceLane uses advanced facial recognition technology to identify individual travelers in real-time. By moving all identity verification, document validation, and risk assessment upstream, border authorities can focus on the few travelers that need further attention, allowing low-risk or known travelers to cross the border seamlessly.
How is traveler biometric data protected?
Travizory uses privacy-by-design principles and the latest security measures across its entire BorderTech portfolio. When deploying FaceLane, we conduct an extensive assessment of national data protection laws to ensure full compliance. Travizory complies with GDPR and is SOC 2 type 2 compliant. Read more about our commitment to security and privacy here.
Can a government use FaceLane™ with an existing eVisa or eTA system?
Yes, in some cases, but it is unlikely, as most legacy eVISA and eTA systems lack the security features required. Request a demo with our experts today to evaluate if your existing systems qualify.
How does the FaceLane™ compare to ABC gates?
The FaceLane is a next-generation border crossing solution, that uses advanced pre-screening and facial recognition technology to identify travelers on the move as they cross the border. One FaceLane can process up to 30 passengers per minute, replacing 6 traditional ABC gates with a smaller footprint. FaceLane is designed to accommodate Passengers with Reduced Mobility (PRM), children in strollers, and families travelling with babies. FaceLane enables non-stop border crossings without a physical barrier, which may be required in some locations.
