Border Security Week is dedicated to improving border security and management across Africa, addressing all three border environments—air, land, and maritime. The Conference convenes senior policy-makers focused on advancing safe and secure borders and tackling the latest challenges and issues affecting border security in Africa.

Travizory is uniquely placed to speak about the challenges and opportunities for African countries looking to meet international standards and improve traveler screening at the border, and was invited to address the conference. We highlighted our role as the software developer behind the first ICAO-compliant API-PNR Targeting System in Africa, which has been operational in Seychelles since 2021. From legal and regulatory frameworks, to resource allocation and the creation of Passenger Information Units for cross-agency collaboration, we presented a roadmap for the rest of the continent.
