Many countries do not have the budget or resources to invest in effective security systems. By collecting a fee directly from travelers at the point of application, the eVisa or Travel Authorization systems are not only self-financing but can also create a new, secure revenue stream for the Government.

Ranging from $7 to $21 worldwide for Travel Authorizations and up to $150 for eVisas, travelers have grown more and more accustomed to paying for such services.

Far from being a deterrent for travelers, governments have generated millions of dollars in revenue for national projects over the past two years.
