Switzerland. Our mission is to eliminate all queues at the Borders while increasing security. We are
developing revolutionary next generation travel authorization, e-Visa and border management SaaS
solutions based on artificial intelligence, big data, biometrics and mobile technologies. Our solution has
already been deployed in several countries including in the Republic of Seychelles and Kenya. Travizory

Purpose

We are looking for a HR Manager who will support the daily operations of the HR department. Focusing
in priority on Kenya operations, which is set to grow over the coming months, you will also be involved in
global projects, such as HRIS system and tools deployment and compliance.
In collaboration with the Head of HR, you will develop policies and procedures in accordance with the
labor laws and the company’s overall goals and objectives, draft templates for HR documents and work
with the other members of the HR team to oversee the hiring and onboarding process for company
employees.


You will be involved in every aspect of the HR function, such as recruiting and onboarding new hires,
preparing compensation and benefits packages, setting up company policies and maintaining updated
employee records, ensuring the performance management system is implemented, drafting employment
contracts/routing for signatures and maintaining the HR systems updated, promoting learning and
professional development initiatives, supporting career development, and ensuring a smooth
offboarding.

Your responsibilities

a) HR Global role

● Work closely with the Head of HR at HQ and other HR Managers in other countries to
develop and implement best practices HR processes, policies and tools
● At a global organization level, take responsibility for global projects such as talent
acquisition or performance management
● Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in
human resources, talent management, and employment law; apply this knowledge to
communicate changes in policy, practice, and resources to management

b) Head of HR for Kenya:

● Work closely with Kenya MD and Head of HR to:
1)Determining organizational chart
2)Create Job descriptions
3)Identify and propose best candidates for the positions in Nairobi
4)Propose approach for Kenya payroll (insource/outsource)
5)Find and move to permanent office
6)Plan, lead, develop, coordinate, and implement policies, processes, training,
initiatives, and surveys to support the organization’s human resource compliance,
best practices and strategy needs.


● Administer or oversee the administration of human resource programs including, but not
limited to, total remuneration package (including salary, stock options, bonuses, other
benefits, and leave); disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and
talent management; recruitment, productivity, recognition, engagement and retention;
occupational health and safety; and training and development
● Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR-related matters in a
timely manner (HR novelties, new processes, policies and tools) and communicate timely
relevant HR information to concerned stakeholders ensuring they are aware, informed and
prepared prior to the deployment of any HR related changes.
● Manage relationships with external HR service providers as needed.

Desired skills

● Bachelor degree in human resources Management, Business Administration, Organization
Development or related field
● 2+ years of human resource management experience is required
● Good knowledge of all HR functions
● Computer proficiency and the ability to quickly learn the organization’s HR systems
● Solid understanding of Kenya labor legislation and benefits/allowances allowed
● Great communication skills
● Strong supervisory and leadership skills
● Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills
● Excellent organizational, prioritization skills and attention to details
● Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
● Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
● Ability to adapt to the needs of the organization and employees
● Having worked for an American or European company in Kenya or abroad is a plus
● Experience in Software/high technology area is a plus
